President of KPMI

The Korean Powder Metallurgy & Materials Institute(KPMI) was founded on June 25, 1993. With the great support and help of members, KPMI became one of the most important Korean materials academic societies. More than 2,000 regular members contributed to the academic development of powder metallurgy in Korea.

KPMI publishes Journal of KPMI bimonthly and holds spring and autumn conferences with more than 700 attendees. Moreover, KPMI holds International Symposium on Novel and Nano Materials(ISNNM) and International Symposium on Innovation in Materials Processing(ISIMP) every each year.

With the rise of 4th Industrial revolution, trade dispute in materials industry and the outbreak of COVID-19, it is time to change and innovate KPMI. The Society has been working to extend and advance the power metallurgy for structural materials. In addition, we achieved great success in functional powders such as 3D printing, magnetic and energy materials. In order to extend this achievements, we need your interest, support and active participation. We sincerely ask that your generously share your wonder ability and insights.
